The Rift Grounds.

Abyssal Rift are one of the modes of the Club guild system in Metal Slug: Awakening.

Information[]

The mode plays similar to Snatch Wars. Occupy territories to receive stage clearing rewards and a chance of getting Gem crafting materials dropped in the territory. Advanced territories have a better drop rate of Gem crafting materials. Select a nearby territory then complete the challenge to occupy it. Entering a battle requires Combat Energy. Connect to other players' territories to receive every reward in the connected area and directly challenge all nearby territories within that area.

when occupying advanced territories, you may seek help from other Commanders to clear the stage! defeat the Calamity Crystal Beast together to receive precious Gem crafting materials.

Conquer the Strongpoint Boss to enter the next area. There are many more advanced territories in the new area and a better chance to receive Gem crafting materials. Commanders within the same Club can connect strongpoints and attempt the challenge. Deplete all strongpoint durability within the time limit to conquer it! When the strongpoint becomes available for a certain period, different Clubs will compete against each other with their time spent on conquering the strongpoint.

The top-ranking Clubs will receive resource yield bonuses for a while,. There will be rewards issued according to the Club's Crystal Mining Ranking every week.

Advance Territories[]

Advanced territories usually exist in the depth of Rift Ground, which are more challenging, and some even require you to carry out multiple battles. Commanders need to improve their Rift Power and work with each other to successfully occupy advanced territories. occupied territories are constantly producing Rift Crystals, which can be used to enhance Crystal Technology and increase the team's combat power in Abyssal Rift.

The number of your territories is affected by your rank. Complete rank missions to increase your rank so that you can occupy more territories! give up on some plains to occupy more advanced territories, which offers you more Rift Crystals. Select the occupied territory and look for the Give Up button in the menu.

Combat Readiness can be completed again every day, and the Character's Combat Energy will be replenished at the same time. Or you can use Energy Cores to restore the energy of Characters who have completed Combat Readiness. Advanced territories have extremely high Rift Crystal yields, which is useful to increase the rank of Commander and Club on the Leaderboard. Meanwhile, they have a better drop rate of Gem crafting materials, which can be used to increase the Commander's combat power!

Storm Ruin Event[]

Storm Ruins event hosts battles between Clubs. Commanders within the Club will work together to occupy strongpoints, keep the Club point ranking, and earn more points for the Club for the ultimate victory. Based on the rankings of Crystal Yield in Rift Ground, the top 64 Clubs will be qualified for the Storm Ruins event.

Grouping Rules[]

Based on the Crystal Yield Ranking in the Rift Ground Club in the week before the Storm Ruins Phase I, every four Clubs will be placed in a group, with Clubs ranked 1-4 in the Ultimate Group, 5-8 in the Glory Group, 9-12 in the Elite Group, 13-16 in the Challenger Group, 17-20 in the Explorer Group, and 21-64 in the Rookie Group.

Calamity Crystal Beast[]

Defeating Calamity Crystal Beast requires players to form a team of 3. When Calamity Crystal Beast is spotted, the player can share it with other players whose territory is connected and receive an extra Collaborative Operation reward after defeating the boss together!

Surprise Attack[]

The Surprise Attack feature allows players to directly occupy the nearby territory of a distant Commander. This feature can be unlocked through Crystal Technology, and its attempts can also be increased there.

Special Treasure Cave[]

Defeat enemies and collect dropped coins, use coins to exchange for Chest and obtain rare materials such as Gems! defeat Burglar Moles to get tons of coins.

Gems[]

MSAwk Gem Forge

Occupying strongpoints, defeating Rift Crystal Beast, conquering strongpoint bosses, and increasing Crystal yield grants you a huge number of Gem crafting materials. Use the Abyss Prism, Experience Cube, and Rift Gem produced from the Abyssal Rift to craft Gems. Gems offer pretty decent Base Attributes and Power, increasing the player's attribute significantly.

Advanced Gems can also provide extra specialties. Different Gems can be socketed into different parts of the gear. A higher-quality gem can provide even stronger attributes and skill specialty.
