The Amadeus Infantry are the military branch of the Amadeus Syndicate. First seen as the main enemies of Metal Slug 4 acting as an elite and supplementary force of the Rebel Army.
Information[]
The Amadeus Infantry are elite mercenaries paid by the Doctor to protect the interests of the rogue syndicate. It has been implied that some of them are skilled Rebels lent to the organization. They make use of advanced weaponry such as chemical warfare shells, stolen AR-10s and further improved versions of the Rebel Army's vehicles. Some of them are cyborgs created by the syndicate scientists operated by artificial intelligences.
Appearances[]
Metal Slug 4[]
The first main appearance in the series. Here they are seen helping and coordinating the Rebels in attempting another coup d'etat with new advanced technologies after the events of Metal Slug 6. Most types of troops appear in the game's final mission.
Metal Slug Attack[]
After the events of Metal Slug 4 the organization has gone into hiding and most of its forces are now focused on guarding facilities where illegal experiments occur and pursuing the Doctor's interests. They are still affiliated with the Rebel Army, offering and receiving support from time to time, although focusing more on advanced world-changing research than military applications.
In this game, the Amadeus Infantry wear violet uniforms to better contrast with the Regular Infantry's blue uniforms.
Metal Slug Infinity[]
The Amadeus Infantry is an individual unit as well as summoned units by the Doctor. All of them are part of the Rebel Army. They fire from their AR-10s and throw grenades. The Amadeus infantry retain their blue uniforms; the Regular Infantry has a new sprite because of this.
