Ashley is a new character introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Character Summary[]
A young woman in the Regular Army who has provided Marco and aerial support in numerous battles. She pilots a customized Slug Flyer that is equipped with a missile launcher and lasers that deal devastating damage to her enemies. She is an aerial ace, as she pilots her Slug Flyer with dexterous techniques and has a top-class sense of balance.

First appearing in "Like a Bird", Menzel and Perche are fighting a mutated Cyclobster, but are struggling to defeat it as its attacks are extremely deadly. Though not the mutant she expected, Menzel assumes that it must be what it mutates to. Ami contacts Perche and informs them that aid is coming soon by someone who called her a big sis - Ashley, who helps them take down the Cyclobster.
She later takes part in a United Front operation with Ami, Perche and Quaith, deciding that she needs to look over the latter after assuming she's shy after their first meeting. During the operation, she encounters a Golden Giant Hunter Walker and comments on how cheap it is by being large and nimble. Despite this, she is able to take it down with her customized Slug Flyer.
Ashley soon obtains a report from her soldiers about a new Sky Satan causing havoc on the air force. Claudia finds her and asks they partner together for the mission, having her serve as a decoy as she deals with the ground forces. Ashley accepts her request, and while distracting the Sky Satan, she watches Claudia destroy the robotic soldiers with her Aegis Shield, which she admits to her never gets old. Maggie soon comes in following the operation and offers them vegetable curry, and Ashley eagerly helps herself to some.

- Ashley's Slug Flyer's design is based on the X-Wing Starfighter, while her special attack is based on the B-Wing Starfighter, both of which appears in the Star Wars series.
