The Cannon Divers are members of the Rebel Marines. They wear a swim ring around their bodies to maintain long-term flotation. These special ambush troops will take position beneath bridges or shore cliffs and fire upwards with their bazooka at the enemies directly above them.

An unused variant would've fired at an angle.

The Cannon Divers appear in Metal Slug Defense and Metal Slug Attack as indestructible obstacles in specific enemy maps.
