The Dog Mummies are recurring enemies in the Metal Slug series.

Information

A variation of the basic mummy design. Dog-mummies are similar to beige mummies.

These dog mummies are possibly the ancient Egypt emperor's guard dog, and will attack anyone who disturbs their eternal slumber.

These mummified hounds can attack with a ring of "cursed" bark breath that reaches farther and is more difficult to avoid than that of a regular mummy. They also move much faster and are able to jump rapidly.

Trivia

• The presence of many dogs here is surprising, considering it's cats that were usually mummified by the Egyptians.
• In Metal Slug Defense, instead of mummifying their enemies, Dog Mummies instead deal normal damage before killing them by engulfing them with purple fire.
