The Flying Killers are an enemy introduced in Metal Slug 3.
Information[]

Tarma being eaten alive by Flying Killers.
The Flying Killers are mutated carnivorous fish that are capable of brief moments of flight over the water in order to hunt for prey. They are always in groups which can be problematic. Flying Killers are found in bodies of water or stored inside of a barrel.
In the first mission of Metal Slug 3, falling off the Borobune Slug in the main route causes the player to be stripped to the bone by the Flying Killers. Rebels and POWs don't suffer this fate.
Variants[]
Flying Killer: The original. In Metal Slug Defense and Metal Slug Attack, they only appear in barrels placed by a Miner.
Flying Killer Type: SSP: A ravenous subspecies that evolved uniquely in a remote island. They home onto enemy units. They appear in Metal Slug Attack.
Cursed Flying Killer: A cursed variant summoned by Elysion. Dissolves on impact with an enemy unit.
Lung Flying Killer: Subspecies that have adapted on land. One fish jumps from base and bites those in the way. If there are no enemies in range, then it'll flop on the ground until its special is recharged. Appears in Metal Slug Attack. |
