The Grenade Launcher Class is a series of weapons in Metal Slug: Awakening. these function similar to the Super Grenade except each shot cause an explosion that affects nearby enemies per shot. once every twelve seconds the next shot will cause a powerful explosion that deals high damage to the enemy. The Grenade Launcher inflicts Weak to the enemy.

Star Upgrades:

1. Basic Effect: Each shot fires a grenade, causing AOE Explosion on hit. At most once every 12s, the next shot fires Shrapnel, dealing 300% DMG of the common grenade. When holding the gun, increase the Squad's DMG to enemy units with WEAK by 15%.
2. WEAK Insight: The Shrapnel enhances the WEAK state of the unit hit for 6s. WEAK points of the enemy units in the WEAK Enhancement state will be fully exposed. No need to hit the specific area.
3. Military Retrofit: Increased weapon stats.
4. WEAK Insight (Enhanced): When holding the gun, increase the Squad's DMG to enemy units with WEAK from 15% to 20%.
5. Top-Secret Retrofit: Increased weapon stats.

• Hip-Hop Disco Ball: Extend the duration of WEAK Enhancement by 50%. The Shrapnel will leave a Hip_Hop Disco Ball where it hits. All enemy units hit by its light will gain 15% Vulnerable for 16s.

• Surging Pulse: Weapon DMG Multiplier increases by 8%.
