The Heavy Mecha is a Regular Army Super Vehicle from Metal Slug: Awakening.
Information[]
A Mecha Armor that was retrofitted into a weapon of war by a retired Mecha Marine. Equipped with a pair of huge and heavy industrial pincers, it excels at both carrying good and pulverizing anything that doesn't strike your fancy! An incredibly powerful vehicle.
The Heavy Mecha is a reversed engineered Claw Unit that generates electricity from its large pincers. The Heavy Mecha generates bits of energy by every hit it lands. Once full, it enhances the next skill attack and replenishes its cooldown. Alongside the Vulcan, the Heavy Mecha has two distinct attacks:
- Smash: Leaps up and slams its pincers to the ground, knocking enemy units into the air. When enhanced, the smash produces a lightning strike dealing 340% of ATK and splits into multiple thunderbolts, dealing 30% of ATK as DMG.
- Steel Crash: Uses its thrusters to dash forward onto enemy units and knocking them back. When enhanced, the dash creates multiple thunderbolts along the way, knocks enemies up higher, and grants a shield equal to 10% of HP.
- Punishing Pummel: Passive: recharges energy bar upon skill hit and grans Energy Enhancment when fully charged, enhancing next skill effect and refreshing it's CD.
- Heavy Guards: Placing the Heavy Mecha one space from others in Ultimate Arena gives them an 8% shield at the start of battle and recovers 1% ultimate skill energy every 1 second for 10 seconds.
A variant known as the Cyclone Crossbow Mecha appears as Tarma's ultimate skill. It is a Heavy Mecha modified to be used as the Regular Army secret weapon. Tarma summons it in front of him from above, dealing 400% of ATK as damage to enemy units upon entry. Then it executes Tearing Hurricane by spinning around with its sharp blades, damaging enemy units five times dealing 40% damage per hit before exploding. If Tarma's Smart Assistant talent is unlocked, then the mecha will passively give nearby characters 50%-70% Summon Bonus Damage.
