Hot Pursuit is a Gamemode introduced in Metal Slug: Awakening.
Information[]
The player must fight a multitude of stages called chapters and defeat each chapter's boss. complete the current chapter to unlock the next one. chapters are unlocked in order!
Enhance[]
After stage completion, you can choose 1 of 3 random enhancements and it can be stacked. Enhancements will be lost when the chapter is complete or reset.
Hot Pursuit[]
Complete some chapters and you can get permanent Hot Pursuits for the mode. Different Hot Pursuits can be stacked.
Reward Types[]
Rewards for the mode include First Clear Rewards and Lambert's Squad Rewards.
First Clear Rewards[]
Complete any stage for the first time to get First Clear Rewards, and they can only be claimed once.
Lambert's Squad Rewards[]

Lambert has been in pursuit of the Rebel remnants relentlessly, and rewards for pursuit increase over time. However, the limited capacity of the trophy container only allows rewards to be stored for up to 48 hours. So, remember to claim them in time! As you advance further, you can also support Lambert by selecting and dispatching Characters and Weapons to increase reward acquisition speed.
Weekly Events[]
Every week, a special enemy type and obstacle will appear randomly. defeating the enemy gains additional buffs.

Summon[]
Deploy Turret I: Summon a permanent Turret at the start of battle. the turret attacks enemy units and deals 60% of the character's ATK. | |
Deploy Turret II: The turret's barrage and DMG has improved, inheriting 120% of the character's ATK. | |
Deploy Turret III: Upgraded the turret and it's form, increasing RoF and DMG significantly. the turret inherits 240% of the character's ATK. | |
Copy Barrage: Summon a Copy Barrage Drone that attacks the same weapon as the Character. | |
Shield Defense: When hitting a target, get a 10% chance to summon a Shield Drone that last for 5s. Cooldown: 12s. | |
Drone Delay: Duration of Shield Drones is increased by 3s. | |
Patnership+: When there are summoned units nearby, gain a 30% ATK incrase. for every 30% of the Character's Debuff DMG Bonus, additionally boost ATK by 10%. | |
Joint Acceleration+: When there are summoned units nearby, gain a 30% RoF increase. for every 30% of the Character's debuff DMG Bonus, additionally boost RoF by 10%. | |
Remote Collaboration: For every 10% of the Character's Long-Range DMG BOnus, increase DMG of summons by 10%. |
Barrage[]
Cruise Missile +: Launch 3 Homing Missiles every 9s, each dealing DMG of 200% of the Character's ATK. When the Character is armed with a WEAK weapon, shorten cooldown to 6s. | |
More Missiles +: Raise the number of Homing Missiles from 3 to 6. For every 30% of the Character's Crit Rate, additionally increase 1 Homing Missile. | |
Giant Missile: Launch a larger Homing Missile, dealing 360% ATK as DMG. | |

Enemy Hunt: When a Homing Missile hits an enemy unit, apply a Mark on them. Attacking the Marked enemy unit guarantees CRIT. | |

Frost Projectile: When hitting a target, get 10% chance to fire 3 small Ice Bombs, inflicting FREEZE and dealing 100% ATK DMG. | |
