Khepri is a boss in Metal Slug: Awakening. It is the seventh boss in World Adventure and a recurring boss in Hot Pursuit.

Information[]

The King of Bugs, almost 10 meters in length, and spouse to Sherpa, Queen of Bugs. It prefers dark environments and has lived a long life in the dark underground world of Kemut. Afraid of light. A giant beetle which grew into a humongous size after getting a Gem and undergoing a mutation. It moves deeper and deeper into the Earth to evade the sun. The underground dwellers worship it as "the Eternal Fire," a reincarnation of the Earthcore Deity, and they know it's not something to be meddled with.

After Khepri mutated and grew so big, it lost all its friends! Although respected as the king of bugs, it felt so very lonely until it met Sherpa, another gigantic bug. Only big fellows can understand each other! They took strolls and ate algae together. The moment their antennae touched, the greatest love in the bug history was born.
