King Harold is a character introduced in Metal Slug: Awakening.
Character Summery[]
King Harold was once the first king of the Vitins known as the Fine-Hair and was an Excellent Berserker in Norwegian legend. during his time the Concerians appeared to the Vitins people over thousands of years ago. during that time the Vitins wage war against the Concerians. the price of aggression have suffered the Vitins countless casualties to the point they disappeared in the vast era of history. Harold's body was buried in the Mechanical Shipwreck where his soul resides there full of heart and regret.
Story[]
During Marco's party exploration to the Ice source where they recover the Melted Elements to open the Mechanical Shipwreck. in order to summon the late king, they must praise his military achievements to open the Shipwreck however there isn't much of a reaction until when Marco mentions if the late king has regrets, his soul suddenly appeared in an hologram due to being dead thousands of years ago. Harold revealed to them crucial information that the Concerians promise them power in order for the Vitins to build them the Ruins which are Energy Extractor that activated the Global Energy Extractor at the Ice Source. To Harold's comments that Regular Army has been facing their own war and hope that they won't end up following their own footsteps. as a reward Harold open the Ship Tomb for the heroes to past and hope for the best to save the earth from destruction.
