Lyla is a playable character in Metal Slug: Awakening.
Character Summary[]
"Check out my masterpiece!"[1]
Guided by her father from a young age, Lyla delved into the world of invention, gleefully crafting a myriad of prank gadgets and enjoying a carefree life. However, her happiness ended when the Morden Army invaded the town.
With her home destroyed and her father missing, Lyla was driven by anger and became a guardian of peace, determined to fight the Morden Army to the end.

Octopus Fan[]
Lyla summons a spinning octopus to the targeted enemy dealing 20% of ATK five times. Any Puffer Bombs nearby are pulled in and denotates for 40% of ATK. After eight Puffer Bombs are denoted, an Elite Puffer acting as a Copy Barrage Drone is summoned.
- Passive 1: A Puffer Fish is summoned for every 12 shots fired up to 4 bombs. Lyla loses one per hit.
- Passive 2: Lyla's summons deal 2.5% more DMG for every 5% Long-Range DMG Bonus.
Inflated Torpedo[]
Lyla throws a huge Puffer Bomb on its target, dealing 200% of ATK on hit. It then explodes on collision, dealing 1,000% of ATK and summoning 6 Puffer Bombs on the battlefield.

When the Weapon lands a CRIT, there's a 20% chance to summon 1 extra Puffer Bomb. Puffer Bomb capacity is increased to 6.
Puffer Assist[]
Whenever Lyla summons a unit, her Weapon DMG is increased by 5% for 8s, up to 4 stacks.
Torpedo Field[]
After summoning an Elite Puffer, gain 40% Summons Bonus DMG for 6s. Lyla's Summon Bonus DMG is further boosted, increasing summons' DMG by 5% for every 5% Long-Range DMG Bonus.
