The Mole Missile is an enemy introduced in Metal Slug 7/XX.
Information[]
This remotely controlled missile drone has a drill attached on its front to dig underground, creating a path of mud and then going to the surface, where it tracks its target and fly towards it to explode.
If a character steps in the mud created by the Mole Missile, they will sink into the ground and be unable to move. To get out of the mud, the player must shake the directional pad or mash the buttons rapidly.
The Mole Missiles are also deployed by the Crablops' containers in Mission 2. For Mission 3, the Crablops Type-Lower produces Mole Missiles from its bottom.
In Other Games[]
Metal Slug Defense/Metal Slug Attack[]
The Mole Missiles are part of Crablops and Crablops Type-F's attack sets. Neither game has it as an individual unit.
Metal Slug: Awakening[]
A variant known as the Mouse Auto Drill is introduced. Sporting a yellow color scheme, these drills quickly drive along the ground but don't jump nor create any mud.
