MSAwk Phantasmic Geocenter

Phantasmic Geocenter also known as The Underworld Realm is a Game mode introduced in Metal Slug: Awakening.

Information[]

To ensure the successful resolution of the Ice Source Danger, the regular army organized the Ice Pole Patrol Army, aimed at eliminating enemies while also providing various information for the advance team. Led by Treasure Digger Eileen, the patrol army discovered an underground cavern that was cold, foggy, unfathomable, and littered with solvent element meteorites. Enemies coveting the power of the meteorites have already gathered here, and the regular army also needs to collect solvent elements to cultivate Mech soldiers. Both sides are about to start a battle for the source of life in this misty phantom realm...

Rules[]

Stage Game Mode[]

Commanders need to explore and advance in the random large map stages, defeat enemy soldiers to accumulate energy bar progress, and when the energy bar is full, it will summon the boss. Defeating the boss within the time limit completes the stage. Key technique: Defeating enemies during battle will accumulate combo value. When the combo value reaches 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, you will receive energy rewards and MSPD bonuses (reaching a 50 combo will grant a maximum 60% MSPD bonus). If no enemies are killed within 5 seconds, the combo value resets to zero.

Each floor of stages is divided into two stages: 1 and 2. Commanders need to challenge these two stages in order. After clearing stage 2, you can obtain the clearance rewards.

Stage unlocking[]

Commanders can unlock the next floor by clearing the stage within 4 minutes, and as the Season Journey progresses, new stages and new chips will be unlocked throughout the season! The preparations for stages 1 and 2 of each floor are mutually exclusive. Characters and weapons that have been deployed in stage 1 cannot be used in stage 2, and vice versa. Commanders need to allocate their squad deployment based on their own construction strategy. 5. The clearance time is the total time spent by the commander to clear

Attribute Carry-over[]

In the Underworld Realm gameplay, all commanders have the same base ATK, DEF, and HP. The ATK and HP provided by Mech Upgrade and Solution Chip Upgrade will also carry over. Except for the attributes mentioned in the previous point, other attributes do not carry over (such as basic attributes provided by vehicle and weapon upgrades). Attributes like CRIT Rate and PEN will carry over 50%. The set effects of Mech cores, and the effects of accessories and gems will carry over normally. Power and Abyss Score do not affect attributes in the Underworld Realm.

Diamond Chip Drops[]

The base drop rate for diamond chips is 5%. If the chosen wishlist chip is a diamond chip, the drop rate for diamond chips increases by 100%, and when a diamond chip drops, there's a 50% chance it will be the diamond chip selected in the wishlist.

Boundless Realm[]

A deep space within underground ice caves, formed by the concentration of high-density dissolved elemental energy Due to the strong regenerative and restorative abilities of dissolved elements, the illusion cycles endlessly.

Requirements[]

  • Season journey reaches stage 7.
  • Clear stage 11 of the Core illusion.

Stage Rules[]

Once unlocked, Boundless Realm is open for challenge every Saturday from 10 AM to Sunday at midnight. During open hours, challenges do not consume any items and have no attempt limits.

Gameplay[]

Similar to Core Illusion, commanders need to explore and advance in large map stages, defeating enemy troops to accumulate energy bar progress. When the energy bar is full, it summons a boss. Defeating the boss within the time limit clears the stage.Each dimension in Boundless Realm consists of 2 stages. Commanders must challenge them in order, clearing the second stage within 240 seconds to complete the dimension, receive first-clear rewards, and unlock the next dimension.

Combo rule[]

Defeating enemies in battle accumulates combo value. Energy rewards are given at combo values of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200. If no enemies are defeated within 5 seconds, the combo value resets to zero. (Boundless Realm combos do not grant MSPD bonuses) 6. Ability selection: When energy reaches 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, an ability selection appears. Commanders can choose one of 3 abilities to aid in clearing the stage. 7. For each dimension, the Stage 1 and 2 have mutually exclusive preparation. Characters and weapons used in the first stage cannot be used in the second stage, and vice versa. Commanders need to allocate their squad deployment based on their strategy.

Stage Skipping Rules[]

Based on the commander's highest cleared stage in Core Illusion, Boundless Realm can directly unlock up to the same numbered dimension. For example, if a commander's highest cleared stage in Core Illusion is 35, then Boundless Realm can be unlocked up to dimension 35, and the commander can choose to directly challenge dimension 35. After clearing a Boundless Realm stage, skipping is also possible based on clear time: For every 20 seconds less than 240 seconds, 1 additional stage can be skipped, up to a maximum of 8 stages for clearing in 80: seconds.

For example, if a commander clears dimension 35 in 210 seconds, which is 30 seconds faster than 240 seconds, they can skip 1 additional stage and directly challenge stage 37 next time.

Special case:[]

When challenging dimensions below 70, clearing within 210 seconds allows skipping 1 extra stage, and clearing within 120 seconds allows skipping 2 extra stages. When skipping stages, you can directly obtain all unclaimed first-clear rewards from previous dimensions! For example, if a commander had only cleared up to dimension 35 before, but can now challenge dimension 45 due to skipping, clearing dimension 45 will grant all rewards from dimensions 36-451

Attribute Carry-over[]

Enemy resistance attributes increase gradually with dimension progress: The base value for critical resistance is 15%, Increasing to 20%, 25%, 30%, 40% at dimensions 51, 76, 101, 151 respectively. The base values for PEN RES, Close-Range Bonus DMG RES, and Long-Range Bonus DMG RES are 25%, increasing to 30%, 35%, 40%, 50% at dimensions 51, 76, 101, 151 respectively.
