The Powerball Drive (or the Power Pinball) is a Slug introduced in Metal Slug: Awakening.

The Ball Lightning Tank IV with a brand-new design that's so imaginative that the enemy would forget how to fire. Thanks to its lighter and smoother mechanical structure, the tank can move at a speed up to 300 kilometers per hour and knock down everything in its way!
The Powerball Drive is a spherical tank similar to the Ball Slug. Unlike the latter vehicle, it moves on threads, uses two HMGs as arms instead of a cannon on its head, and cannot split to reveal additional weapons. The Powerball Drive gains energy per enemy hit. When full, skills that lead it to descend will instead cause it to create a smash attack. The player can expend its energy to create consecutive smashes. Alongside its Rapid HMG, the Powerball Drive has two distinct attacks:
- Powered Charge: Turns into a spiked ball and deals 500% of ATK. Gains 2 energy on hit.
- Bouncy Cyclone: Creates a cyclone around itself dealing 200% of ATK and stuns enemies four times. Gains 1 energy per enemy hit.
- Earthshaking Hammer: Passive: after using the skill, the next weapon strike delivered airborne is enhanced, leading the character to perform a formidable smash, which deals 750% of ATK and Knocks the target into the air. the character gains 2 energy on the hit. When the energy is full, the character can spend all energy and launch consecutive smashes in the form of a power ball.
- Follow Up Effect: gain reinforced armors. quickly remove the target's Crystal and Crystal Shield. statuses on hitting the target with powerful impact.
- Stun Grenade: In Ultimate Arena, all allies with the same lane as the Slug gain 8% Rate of Fire. Additionally, its smashes have a 30% chance to create a shockwave dealing 50% DMG on both sides.
