Ptolemaios Shadow is a character introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Character Summary[]
Ptolemaios Shadow does not have a name of his own; his just a mere pathetic Masked Soldier whose spirit has been taken over by Ptolemaios becoming his proxy or incarnate. He is not just a Masked Soldier but a master of advanced magic tricks and inhuman physical techniques.
He resembles Ptolemaios younger form but wears a mask, a darker robe, and purple cloak.
In battle, he acts similar to Ptolemaios if. Unlike the original, Ptolemaios Shadow has higher stats, but weak on special attacks; however, his close range is much more powerful and deadly than the original.
1: Oceanus; Increases HP.- 2: Mars; Chance to evade enemy attack and performs counter attack.
- 3: Centaurus; Allied Ptolemaic units' movement speed are increased.
4: Tartaros Key; Revives at above its original health.

He first appears in "Genius or Fool" only a brief moment as a mysterious Masked Soldier. Chaos ensues at a Ptolemaic Army base as a Jupiter Wing attacks, with the Ptolemaics unable to harm it in any way. As the soldiers panic, they spot Sisilia heading towards a warehouse, warning her to flee. A soldier pushes her out of the way, but Ptolemaios Shadow catches her before she falls. He disappears before she could properly thank him.
Trivia[]
- It's unknown if this character is the real Ptolemaios or a impersonator due to appearing briefly at the beginning of the cutscene where he saves Sisilia from falling and then vanishes. However, his unit description states that he's just a ordinary masked soldier who got possessed by Ptolemaios himself acting as a proxy for his possible return.
