Red stop, green go! is a mini-game introduced in Metal Slug: Awakening that appears on occasional events.
Information[]
Red Light, Green Light is a racing mini-game where you and three other Commanders race to the finish line under the surveillance of a Pumpkin or Mole radar. When the light on the mole radar turns yellow, it will randomly turn red within 5s.
Commanders still moving when it turns red will be immobilized for 3s. Fountains on the track will propel you into the air, boosters and decelerators will push you closer to or farther from the finish line. When obstructed by these mechanisms, Commanders will also be immobilized by the mole radar. Boxes on the track contain items to help you. Outrun the other Commanders to the finish line!
1. You can participate in the event from 00:00 to 23:59:59, up to 3 times a day.
2. Watch the Pumpkin or Mole radar's signals! Stop on red to avoid penalties; yellow means red is coming!
Powerups[]
The Mystery Chests with question marks on them offer plenty of useful items. Utilize them to gain a competitive edge!
Details:
- Ink Bottle: Throw a bottle of ink onto your opponent's screen, obstructing their vision;
- Invisibility Cloak: Use this to keep moving even when the red light is on; Speed Boots: Activate to run faster than ever before;
- Fan: Deploy to slow down your opponents;
- Electric Orb: Unleash random electric orbs on your opponent's track; those hits will experience a brief immobilization.

The Daily Leaderboard features Commanders who win all 3 rounds of the day. Win faster to rank higher! the Total Leaderboard features Commanders who win all 3 rounds every day during the event. Win faster to rank higher!
