The Reverse Trinity are a trio of new characters introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Character Summary[]
Reverse Trinity is an independent unit that serves as the embodiment of the Ptolemaic Army, combining science, military and mystery. Despite this, they're actually a stand-alone entity consisting of a trio of two men and one woman; the Teacher, General and Princess.
The Princess is a beautiful designer who embodies the science aspect of the army, being solely interested in technological research. She frequently gets herself into trouble and usually has a foul mouth.
The General is an old man who embodies the military aspect of the army. Considering himself to be a "grand" general, he comes up with impossible plans.
The Teacher (also known as a muscle instructor) is a masked cultist who embodies the mystery aspect of the army. Similarly to Cline, the Teacher does not communicate normally like other people, instead speaking in an ancient language that only weapons understand. He only utters two phrases, "Wo" and "WOOO", but both the Princess and the General are able to understand what he says.
They're considered eccentrics, yet when combined may actually be a miracle. Due to their unusual quirks, they're usually isolated from the rest of the army, as rumors swirl that anyone that gets close to them often has their career path ended. Despite this, they get along well with each other.
In battle, the trio ride a customized Quadro Jumper. Should the jumper's stealth capabilities be unlocked, they drop on the furthest enemy unit and deploy harmful netting on enemies in their grasp. When it wears off, the General serves as the primary combatant, firing from his sniper rifle and calling in customized Black Hounds as support. When the Quadro Jumper becomes critically damaged, the Princess and General are rendered unconscious, prompting the Teacher to take action by using his mastery of the occult to draw energies to launch at enemies. If the situation becomes too dangerous, he'll withdraw, but if he manages to prevail, he restores the machine and revives his fellow allies.
Story[]
Extra Ops[]
First appearing in "Genius or Fool", the trio arrive at a Ptolemaic Army base to deal with a Jupiter Wing that was causing chaos at the base; the Princess was mostly interested in getting into a fight and investigating the over-technology used in it. They find Sisilia, where the princess is amused that she was willing to risk her life to protect her friend's bike but the General defends her. They protect the warehouse and destroy the Jupiter Wing, but the Princess accidentally destroys most of the base in the process. Sisilia thanks them for their efforts, causing them to watch on with satisfaction as she leaves. Both the Teacher and General suggest leaving before they could be blamed for destroying the base, which she agrees and decides to return home, but the General informs her that he saw her destroy their home. The Princess is unfazed and gets inspiration to rebuild their home.

Trivia[]
- The trio are likely to be inspired by Capcom's Devilotte, a female princess with a foul attitude who's accompanied by two lackeys, Dave the scientist and Xavier the magic man. The Princess herself would be Devilotte, the General as Dave and the Teacher as Xavier.
