The S.P.A.R.R.O.W.S was a Regular Army special forces unit belonging to the Intelligence Division.

History

During the events of Metal Slug: 2nd Mission, Intelligence Division agent Red Eye proved instrumental in stopping the Rebel Army from contacting the Martians. Impressed with her perfomrance, the Intelligence Division decided to create the S.P.A.R.R.O.W.S special forces unit, with Red Eye being the first member.

During the Second Morden War, Eri Kasamoto and Fio Germi, two SPARROWS members, would join the P.F. Squad in stopping Donald Morden's second coup attempt. Ever since then, these four soldiers would take part in numerous operations against the Rebel Army and other enemies of the Regular Army.
