"Snowy Road" is the third mission of Metal Slug 4.
Mission Synopsis[]
The heroes' next location is a Rebel base inside of one of, what is presumably, Nepal's mountains. After dealing with the Rebels who quickly ambushed the drop point (and scared away the village children), the heroes jump across the canyon and then descend downwards. Should they fall alongside the crumbling edge, the heroes then climb upwards through the ragged cliffsides.
Either way, the two routes meet up against The Iron with Morden on tow. Once destroyed, Morden escapes, and the heroes are picked up to the next destination.
Locations[]
- Upper Route
- Summit Base: A cave full of crates of food that can turn the player fat.
- Downwards Incline: The heroes walk down the mountain. Midway through is a series of logs that can be toppled. The leftover log slides down destroying everything in its path.
- Lower Route
- Upwards Incline: A cave full of Sasquatches. A hibernating bear wakes up during the commotion and starts attacking everyone in sight. After a few claw swipes or damage taken, the bear gets tired and leaves.
- Waterfalls: A tall cliff with various waterfalls. A Slugnoid can be found midway through the upwards trek.
Prisoner Locations[]
It is impossible to get a "Great!" Bonus in this mission in single-player.

Trivia[]
- This is the only mission in the main series where Rebels use different uniforms in snow areas. Said uniforms are reused for the Winter Soldiers in Metal Slug Defense and Beatriz's bodyguards in Metal Slug Attack.
