Steel Conga (Conga: Steel Crawler) is the fifth boss fought in Metal Slug: Awakening.

Information[]

located in the underground laboratory. An experimental crab, 4 meters tall and made of steel. It hates human beings and wishes to eliminate us. A giant Conga with steel spikes all over its body! The electrified pincers hint that it is definitely not to be messed with! It has mastered the way of curling and rolling over its enemies, bringing forth a world of hurt. Its creator must not have wanted to be "the first to try eating a crab."

It was once just a shy little crab in mating season, but the arrival of the Rebel Army turned its life into a nightmare. Experiment after experiment turned it into a steely monster that barely resembled a crab. The little crabs that were once willing to mate with it ran away in fear at the sight of its big eyes that looked like headlights. When it gained immense strength from the mutation, it vowed to teach the Rebel Army a lesson with its claws. It tells itself that it is still a real crab, and that it can still find a beautiful mate.
