The Subway is a vehicle from Metal Slug 2/X.

Information

This subway line goes through the underground of New Godokin City. When the Rebel Army took over the city, they derailed the wagons of the subway and used them to keep outsiders away.

The wagons of the subway will come at the player and won't stop until they are destroyed. If the player fails to destroy them, they will be crushed against the edge of the screen. The penultimate wagon in Metal Slug X will give the only Super Grenade of the game when destroyed. the other wagons will drop common items such as grenade ammo or pigs.

In Other Games

Metal Slug Defense

The Subway appears as an enemy unit, but never can be obtained by the player.

Metal Slug Attack

The Subway is an enemy unit in the standard and elite 7-4 stage. It makes its playable debut in the "Halloween Train" Extra Ops as a Rare Boss unit. Parts of the Subway can be obtained in the "What I Need to be Myself" Another Story.

The Subway serves as a shield, making contact damage to enemy units. When destroyed, the Subway jumps and gives large damage to those it lands on.

Rapid uses a subway with a large cannon strapped on top. When destroyed, the subway runs towards the nearest enemy before jumping on them.
