The Towering Reno (擎天雷诺) is a Regular Army Slug introduced in Metal Slug: Awakening. part of a collaboration between Speed Drifter.

The beloved A-class racer, Reno, returns with a resounding thunder. its imposing wheels and solid front end redefine the classic design. it's powerful engine echoes the call of victory, forging ahead without faltering.
The Towering Reno is a retrofitted Race Kart fitted for combat. due to it's high speed and bulky design, it specialize at Hit and Run attacks by gaining speed when using it's nitrous oxide and ramming itself onto enemies that deals a ton of damage. Alongside its Vulcan cannons, the Towering Reno has two distinct attacks:
- Windspeed Surge: Use this skill to replace all skills with the empowered skills. Using skills consumes one stack of charge, with a total of two stacks available.
- Straight Speedup: Use nitro to dash forward, dealing 500% of ATK as DMG to enemies along the way and knocking them into the air.
- Global Sprint: Use a large amount of nitro to quickly dash forward with a shield, dealing 900% of ATK as DMG to enemies along the way and knocking them into the air. This leaves a horizontal magnetic field on the sprint path, dealing 100% DMG to enemy units every 0.75s with a duration of 5s.
- Extreme Rush: Use this skill to replace all skills with the empowered skills. Using skills consumes one stack of charge, with a total of two stacks available.
- Mini Jet Turn: Rotate in place once, dealing 800% of ATK as DMG to surrounding enemies and knocking them into the air.
- Mega Jet Drift: Rotate in place twice, dealing 2 hits each with 700% of ATK as DMG to surrounding enemies and knocking them into the air. It also forms a vertical magnetic field, dealing 150% DMG to enemy units every 0.75s with a duration of 5s.
- Area Magnetic Field: Passive: increase MSPD and ATK of allied units within the Magnetic Field.
- Speedup for All: In Ultimate Arena, All characters within 1 grid of the vehicle gain an Energy Acceleration effect. this effect reduced weapon reload time by 20% and increases Ultimate Skill energy replenishment by 20%.
