Volmes is a boss introduced in Metal Slug: Awakening and serves as the first boss of Joint Operations.

Information[]

This experimental weapon with magnetic abilities is located in a Magnet Factory and is equipped with a multi-direction laser cannon. The Rebel Army invented this next-gen weapon with advanced technologies that create gravitational fields. placed in a secret lab guarded by drones, it will activate a super magnetic field that reverses gravity once the alarm is on, destroying all enemies with electromagnetic laser beams when they lose their sense of direction.

The Rebel Army modelled the gravity reverser after the mysterious upturned pyramid. At first, Morden thought it was the key to the power of awakening and tested it himself multiple times. But other than extreme dizziness and nausea, he didn't get anything else about the Seed of Awakening. But the process made him discover the potential of the device as a cutting board.
